Our vegetable growers at Russell's widen our selection each year to accommodate for the ever changing interest in local and sustainable food production. We offer certified organics, heirlooms, and conventional varieties to bring diversity to your garden. The Russell's Veggie Team is here to help with any questions or concerns and to assist you with selecting just the right plants for your garden.
Selections of fresh herb plants are available year-round at Russell's, but the widest variety of herbs are available in the spring and summer months. For more information about specific herbs ask our friendly staff. We will advise you about growing and using the fresh herbs that you find at Russell's.
Plant Garlic Bulbs in Late Fall!
In zone 6, garlic bulbs are best planted in late fall and harvested in June after they overwinter.
Russell's offers an assortment of garlic varieties for fall planting. Bulbs are available in our Plant Shop.
