Russell's will host award-winning garden designer, author and lecturer, Kerry Ann Mendez who will present a 3-hour class on "Designing a High-Impact, Low-Maintenance Flower Garden Featuring Remarkable Perennials, Flowering Shrubs and Annuals".

The fee for this special workshop will be available in January. Class will include handouts, plant catalogs, light refreshments and door prizes. This class is presented by Ms. Mendez. Hometown Habitats, Stories of Bringing Nature Home

Russell's will host the showing of this documentary, filmed by award-winning film maker Catherine Zimmerman and narrated by Dr. Doug Tallamy. The film is designed to inspire people to focus on gardening with native plants that play a critical role in the survival of our ecosystem by providing food for birds and pollinators.

Russell's is partnering with the folks from Grow Native Massachusetts. Representatives from the organization will be on hand to introduce the film and to answer questions at the end.

Tickets are $10.00 per person. Seating is limited and pre-registration is recommended.
